Any human face, any work of art, even almost any idea is copyright protected. Strangely enough celestial bodies are still free to use by everybody. No wonder many companies grab the opportunity to claim these unprotected territories. This flexible map is an attempt to visualize the emotional colonized universe.

Sun® Moon© Stars™

Human communication is based on signs in form of written or spoken words, images or gestures. In this context the sun, the moon and the stars represent a kind of an universal language, cause their images and meanings appear in the same way and posess the same forces in all centuries and all cultures in the world. They are closely connected to the everyday life of humans and they play a central role in many ceremonies. The spirituel need of humans still exists today.

Of course, the industry makes also use of those prototypes in order to promote their products. The sun, the moon and the stars appear in thousands of company logos.

So what's the essential question? Does the industrie have actual demands for our universe? Do we need a different point of view when we look to the night sky? This animation should be an attempt to rearrange the universe.
