It seems to be contradictory to teach the students some basic tools and ideas (in typography in this case) while at the same time appreciating the absence of too many learned rules and restrictions.
It is a privilege to play the role of messenger but you have to be careful with the dozing, before you know the students have to spend the rest of their study time (or their life) to re-discover spontaneity and a primal motivation to become designer.
So, the main message is: "You are a messenger yourself". Teachers are assistants, helping students telling their stories, spreading their opinions.
Nevertheless, the surfaces shown here have been, in case of many students, the results of the biggest steps during their entire design training.
